During those summer months when the kids are out of school and looking for something to keep them busy, send them down to the City of Melfort Summer Program. Weekly themed activities with trained leaders for kids ages 5-12 including crafts, games, and snacks. Make sure to follow us on Facebook to see important dates and weekly themes.
The playground program is free to attend and runs throughout July and August, Monday to Friday from 12:00 to 5:00pm at:
- Melfort Kinsmen and Kinette Maude Burke Playground: Spray pad & Program located at the corner of Broadway Ave South & Melfort Street.
- Melfort Kinsmen and Kinette Brunswick Playground: Paddling Pool & Program located at the corner of Brunswick Street & Bemister Ave E
This is a drop-in program, children can come and go as they want. Register in-person. Children under the age of 5 can participate but must be accompanied by an adult.
What to Bring
- A hat, proper footwear, sunscreen, and bug spray
- Drinks and snacks are optional - only nut free products
- Any medical devices or medications - EpiPen, Inhaler, etc.
- Bathing suit, towel, and water bottle
