Dog Park

The off-leash dog park is located near Spruce Haven Park, and is the only area in the City where dogs can be off-leash in public.  

The park is open all year round and is fully fenced.  

The dog park gives dogs and their owners a safe environment to exercise, play and socialize with other dogs. Users are reminded to obey the rules posted at the park's entrance.  

Small Dog Area
Suggested use: 
  • Dogs under 30lbs
  • Less active senior dogs and/or those who are more comfortable with smaller friends
  • Placement of dogs in this area is at the owners discretion
Large Dog Area
Suggested use: 
  • Dogs over 30lbs
  • Active small dogs (Those who think they are big dogs)
  • Placement of dogs in this area is at the owners discretion
  • Use park at your own risk
  • Owners are legally responsible for the behavior of their dog(s) at all times
  • Dogs must be leashed while entering and exiting the park
  • Dog waste must be cleaned up by their owners immediately
  • Owners must be within the dog park and supervising their dog with a leash readily available
  • Dog handlers must be at least 13 years or age
  • Children under 13 must be accompanied by an adult and supervised at all times
  • Aggressive dogs must be removed immediately
  • Dogs should be under voice control
  • Gates closed at all times
  • Human and dog food/treats
  • Glass containers
  • Dogs in heat
  • Sick dogs
  • Aggressive dogs
  • Puppies (under 4 months)
