In response to the Government of Saskatchewan September 17, 2021 implementation of public health measures the City of Melfort is now requiring masks in all indoor city facilities. Exempt from the masking order will be participants of indoor youth athletics for those under the age of 18 and while using the pool at the Northern Lights Palace, masks will be required in the lobby and dressing rooms. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we endeavor to respond to your needs during this time.
The Province of Saskatchewan has announced that as of October 1, 2021 proof of vaccination will be required to enter in all public spaces as well as for Government of Saskatchewan ministry, crown and agency employees.
The Council for the City of Melfort has adopted a policy requiring all City personnel to provide proof of vaccination or weekly negative certified COIVD 19 test results, more information to come regarding the general public's proof of vaccination requirements for city facilities.

Many City of Melfort outdoor facilities have been reopened to the general public. Indoor facilities all users require masks to enter the facilities. Exemptions included participants of indoor youth athletics for those under the age of 18 and everyone using the pool at the Northern Lights Palace, masks will be required for spectators as well as in the lobby and dressing rooms.

Billing and Payments
The City of Melfort has taken steps to provide increased flexibility and immediate short-term relief to property owners during the COVID-19 Pandemic. Property owners have an additional three months to September 30th to pay 2020 property taxes without penalty. Utility late payment charges and utility disconnections will be suspended until September 30, 2020. Customers will continue to receive utility bills and taxes notices during this period and are encouraged to stay current if they can.
Payments can be made by mail, dropped off in the mail slot at City Hall or online through your online banking service. Waste Collection and Disposal
Curbside pickup of household waste and recycling continues on regular schedule. The Melfort Regional Landfill is open to the general public Monday to Saturday, 9:30 am - 5:15 pm. Debit or approved accounts only.
